The Green Homes Grant Scheme - What you need to know

If you’re looking to replace your windows or doors your ears may have pricked when you heard about the new Green Homes Grant scheme. You may be eligible to get vouchers for up to £5,000 or £10,000 for home improvements. What great news! Thanks to this amazing scheme not only can you transform your living space, you can also save up to £181 on your heating bills!

You can apply at the end of September… So now is a great time to get in touch with your local Independent Network installer for a free quote

There’s a few things to remember which you can read about on the government website, here are the key facts:

The voucher must be used to install at least one ‘primary measure’ which can either be an insulation measure and/or a low carbon heating measure. Find out more here.

Then if you have installed at least one of the ‘primary measures’ your voucher can contribute or cover the cost of a ‘secondary measure’ which includes double or triple glazing (if you’re replacing single glazed windows) or secondary glazing (in addition to single glazing).

We have a range of UPVC window styles and different styles of Composite doors and UPVC doors for any type of home, read our blog about all our window styles or get in touch to speak to your local installer about your project.
